Make certain that you are using a fully charged battery that will power the camera through the update process.

Remove the power from the camera.

Insert the SD Card into the camera.

Connect the power to the camera.

The camera will start up and begin the update. You will see a message on the LCD that says the firmware is programming.

The update process takes less than 1 minute. Do not remove the SD card during the firmware update.
