For the pcbase software this will appear as an error loading ubrowse.dll or ftd2xx.dll. This will only possibly be a problem if using a different build of wine than the one ATSI distributes. 1.0.x releases built from source should always work. Livecam ======= The livecam is now supported. The instructions below describe how to get it running. 1. Sign up at http://livecam.buckeyecam.com/reglivecam/ 2. When the email with your security key arrives, save it somewhere like the desktop or documents folder. 3. Open the PCBase software and select "PCBase Settings". Then select the "LiveCam" tab. 4. Select "Upload pictures to my LiveCam account". Then click "Install new passport file". 5. The dialog should default to your desktop. The z: drive should be "Macintosh HD" (unix path "/"). Select passport.pas from the dialog and click open. That is all that should be required to make it work. If an error occurs, it will display a message for about 30 seconds. A log for the last synchronization attempt can be found at "$HOME/Library/BuckEyeCam/livecam.log" where $HOME is your home directory for your user account. Software installation and uninstallation ======================================== To install the PCBase software, first download and install Darwine. This can be done as follows: 1. Download Darwine_1.0.dmg and open it. 2. Click on the "Darwine 1.0" icon. 3. Follow the instructions in the installation procedure, which should install it in /Applications/Darwine To install the PCBase software: 1. Download the file from the support section of buckeyecam.com 2. Open the dmg file. 3. Drag the PCBase icon into the /Applications folder. Uninstalling the PC Base software can be done by removing the PCBase (PCBase.app) icon from directory from your /Applications directory. If you would like to remove user data, it is stored in the "Library" directory of your home directory. Known bugs ========== 1. As pictures are taken, the PC Base window will move down the screen until it gets to the bottom. It will then jump back up to the top. This can be worked around by putting the window on the side of the screen so it will not be hidden by the dock. Update (1/14/09): Go to http://xquartz.macosforge.org and install the latest X11 package to fix this problem. Instructions are on the site.
