To update the camera firmware, download the firmware update file and save it to an SD card.
Insert the card into the camera and turn the camera on. The camera will automatically load the new firmware.
DO NOT turn the power off to the camera during the firmware update.
After the update completes, remove the card and turn the camera off. Now, the camera has new firmware.
